In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore the nature of anxiety and the various ways it can manifest in the mind and body, such as stress, tension, worry, feeling on edge, or out-of-control. We’ll look at the development of anxious thinking and how we can use a range of things, such as mindfulness, self care and compassion, to bring ourselves back into balance. In addition, we’ll be sharing a model from Transactional Analysis, which will help you to understand how anxiety is created within us and perpetuated in a vicious circle. We’ll also be sharing some ideas about how to get out of this vicious circle.
We’re running this workshop on two dates: Tuesday 11th February 2020 at 10am and Thursday 20th February at 6pm.
